Every four to six hours or as pain persists, gently remove any wound by-products, residual ointment and reapply. Take care to avoid irritating the damaged skin. DO NOT use any other agents to clean the wound after initial cleansing. Apply MEBO Wound Ointment as above. Impregnate one to two layers of sterile gauze with MEBO Wound Ointment and place over wound. Cover with an outer bandage to hold in place. Allow to cool, standing the tube on its top.
