L-Carnitine Tartrate delivers the purest form of L-Carnitine. This highly stable form is known for its solubility which makes this one of the most preferred derivatives of naturally occurring L-Carnitine. It is made from a combination of L-Carnitine and L-Tartaric Acid.
Fatty acid metabolism requires carnitine. Fatty acids are converted to fatty acetylCoA, then combined with carnitine before they are carried into the cells' power plants, the mitochondria, to be oxidised.
L-Carnitine Tartrate is reported to have the same actions as the L-Carnitine manufactured naturally in the human body.
