Anti-inflammatory, Soothes Stomach Complaints
- Licorice Root may soothe stomach ulcers, sore throat, bronchitis, chronic gastritis, heartburn, indigestion, colic and menopausal symptoms.
- May support the function of adrenal glands.
- May soothe coughs.
- May relieve bacterial and viral infections.
- Traditionally, licorice has been used to increase fertility in women.
Directions for Use
Use 2 teaspoons to 1 large cup of water. Boil in water, let simmer for 1 hour for maximum flavour. Simmer with any milk as preferred. Strain, drink hot or cold. 2 cups daily maximum. Children under 12, maximum 1 cup per day, made with no more than ½ teaspoon herb.
